Sondery Irish Tin Whistle Set Key of C and Key of D Made from Hign Quality ABS with Sound of Wood in Nature Penny Whistle

These are a really good deal.I bought the plastic D and C together. The sound is toward the pan flute end of things which I love. If they start making these in other keys at the same price I’ll buy them. It would be absurd not to. I’d be curious if they could make a good low D whistle. My only criticism is that I had to sand off the logo because it was placed too prominently and lacked old-world character. All in all, these plastic ones are my top recommendation for an entry level whistle. They’re an intermediate whistle at an entry level price.

for the price, I’m blown away by how good these whistles are. I was recording an album and my favorite high d got crushed. I was able to get the Sondery D/C and am thrilled with how good they sound.

Lovely instruments for the price. Nice woody tone. Intonation ain't perfect, but it is fairly easy to blow the whistle into tune.

This is a Christmas gift for a young lifted man. He wants to play music with hos mother who played a flute. He loves music.
